Events like the Gibraltar 7s need a great team to make them run smoothly and we are lucky to have so many amazing people making sure everything works as it should. Whether you just love sports or you are keen to help out in a number of roles from admin, merchandise, safety, stewarding, ticketing or generally making people smile we want to hear from you.
Volunteers at the Gibraltar 7s are well looked after with stash, food, drink and access to the Player parties. With Gibraltar being a relatively small place, we do need other support.
Our volunteer team is supported by enthusiasts and specialists who travel to Gibraltar on a working holiday. They stay in one of our dormitories within the stadium and are welcomed into the wider team by our Tournament Director. You would help to build the event, dress and set up all of the different areas, manage the event and they help break it down.
We also need specialist volunteers working in areas such as Broadcast and Stadium management:
- Camera Operators
- Production Assistants
- Playback Assistants
- Floor Managers
- AV Specialists
- Commentators
- Stadium announcers
The volunteer team is a big family, working together and playing together, it’s a bit like fruit picking but on steroids!
