Men’s Rugby 7s squads consist of 12 players and 2 support staff. Vet’s 10s are squads of 15 total. You may add additional support staff (non-playing) to your squad. However, due to the limited accommodation in Gibraltar we cannot guarantee that they will be accommodated with the rest of the team.
You don’t need to bring your own physio as we will be providing pitch side support for all your games.
Men’s Rugby 7s takes place across 4 days
Men’s Elite 7s
The Elite Men’s Rugby 7s competition has been the highlight of the tournament for the last two years, growing stronger and bigger each year. The competition takes place on Friday and Saturday. Viator won the Final again in 2023 with a Golden Score – can anybody un-seat the Reigning Champs in 2024? Small margins make a big difference in this competition and the action is nail-biting.
Men’s Open 7s
The Men’s Open Rugby 7s competition is always a great event, balancing brilliance on the field and energy off it. Some of the greatest moments of the tournament are played in this competition. Take it seriously, but not too seriously. This competition begins Friday afternoon and finishes on Saturday.
Men’s Vets 10s
There’s no need for a coaching team here (the players wouldn’t listen anyway) so every one of the 15-player squad is allowed to take part. No limits on replacements means you can have your 10 minutes of glory in the sun before putting your feet up and let the rest do the work. Opening the show on Thursday afternoon and finishing on Friday you get the best of the weekend, sitting in the sun, watching Gibraltar Netball 7s and Gibraltar Rugby 7s.
