Get ready for three days of fast-paced action as Gibraltar Rugby Football Union (GRFU) announces the return of the Gibraltar 7s to the summer sporting calendar, now proudly backed by new headline sponsor, Flutter.
Rugby sevens is globally renowned for its high-octane, shorter format, making it an incredibly exciting spectacle for hardcore fans and newcomers alike. This year’s tournament promises a strong international field, having previously hosted Olympians and national squad members. Teams from across the UK, Europe and North Africa will compete across Men’s, Women’s, and Veterans’ categories.
Starting with the 2026 edition, Gibraltar 7s is delighted to announce that Flutter will become the Primary Sponsor and the event will be known as the Flutter Gibraltar 7s . Taking place from Thursday 25th to Saturday 27th June at the Europa Point Stadium, event will bring together hundreds of players, coaches, and fans for a weekend celebrating everything we love about rugby.
Flutter is one of Gibraltar’s most significant private-sector employers highlighting a shared commitment to community growth. Having established its Sky Gaming head office on the Rock in 2024 supporting brands such as Sky Betting and Tombola, they have quickly become a cornerstone of the Gibraltar community.
The Flutter Gibraltar 7s is about more than just the action on the pitch. Spectators can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere complete with live music, fantastic food, premium hospitality, and endless entertainment for all ages.

Crucially, the Flutter Gibraltar 7s is wholly owned by the GRFU, the governing body for rugby in Gibraltar. All funds raised through registration, ticketing, and sponsorship are reinvested directly into the local development of the sport, creating vital opportunities for junior players and the wider grassroots rugby community.
